Maritime Security & Monitoring
24-hour onboard watch and underwater hull inspection by divers, protecting the berthed or anchored ship above and below the waterline. Incident logs, shift reports and technical reports are issued by Clean Ship and handed to the client.
Continuous protection above and below the waterline
A berthed or anchored ship is an idle, exposed asset. Unauthorized craft approaching in the small hours, improper access through the gangway and packages attached to the hull below the waterline are recurrent risks along the Brazilian coast — and none of them is solved by cameras: they call for human presence, continuous shifts and proper records.
Clean Ship takes on this monitoring end to end. We place onboard maritime watchmen on deck and divers alongside the hull, define the watch plan with the master, run the operation and answer for it: the incident log, the shift report and the underwater inspection report are issued by us and handed to the client.
What we monitor
- Unauthorized craft approaching the ship's side
- Access of people and materials through the gangway
- Anchor chains and mooring lines as access routes
- Suspicious movement nearby during anchorage and berthing
- Packages and devices attached to the underwater hull
- Propeller, rudder, bow thruster and sea chests
- Biofouling, visible damage and sacrificial anodes
How we operate
- Continuous shifts, including at night, with documented handover
- Incident logging and immediate reporting to the duty officer
- Deck rounds on foot and perimeter rounds by support craft
- Underwater sweep with video and photography handed to the client
- Qualified divers, with a surface team and a dive plan
